The 5-mile-long promenade is completely flat, making it enjoyable for those on bicycles, wheelchairs or with prams.

We have a private parking area for guests to the at the rear of the hotel. There is also free parking available on the promenade to the front of the premises between set times of 6pm and 10am-perfect for our business guests.

HEYSHAM

A charming seaside village set on the edge of Morecambe Bay. A small ancient village with meadows, sandy beaches and deep rock pools. Heysham is the gateway to the Isle of Man, from here you can take a ferry over to the island taking approximately 4 hrs to reach this beautiful island.

LANCASTER

Visit the historic city of Lancaster with its imposing castle overlooking the river Lune as it winds around the city. The castle is the home to the Duchy of Lancaster and has many tales of the Pendle Witch Trials. In the city centre, you will find shopping areas with many places to eat and drink.

BOWLAND

The Forest of Bowland is an outstanding area of natural beauty covering 312 sq miles. The stunning landscape has become an area of national importance because of its unspoilt landscape, wildlife and heritage. The area has become a habitat for many of our native species.

KIRKBY LONSDALE

Kirkby Lonsdale is a small market village with a weekly market held in the village square every Wednesday. The village has many cafes and restaurants selling local produce. There is plenty of countryside to enjoy with country walks and picnic areas most set around the famous Devils Bridge.
